About This Service
Sod is the fastest way to go from a bare or failing lawn to a green one. The old turf and weeds come out, the grade is corrected so water runs away from the house instead of pooling, topsoil is brought in where it is needed, and the new sod is laid tight, rolled and watered in the same day.
Most of the work that decides whether sod takes happens before a single roll is unloaded. Skipping the grading or laying over compacted ground gives you a lawn that looks perfect for two weeks and then goes patchy. Topel Industries does the prep properly, which is why the first visit takes longer than people expect.
You get a watering schedule for the first three weeks and a straight answer on when it is safe to walk on and mow. Sod installs are quoted by the square foot after a site visit, because access, slope and how much old material has to come out all change the number.
