Lawrence Topel started Topel Industries in 2021 as a one man operation, working weekends and the odd evening after his primary job. There was no marketing budget behind it. He posted the work he was doing, neighbours saw it, and the phone started ringing. Every customer since has come from a referral, a photo online, or somebody who liked what they saw two doors down. The plan from here is to keep growing carefully, open a nursery of his own, and eventually cover the whole of Long Island. For now the standard is simple: he is on every job, and nothing leaves looking half finished.
